Support for affiliates
- Affiliate dashboard. A dashboard that tracks an affiliate’s sales and commission.
- Link and code. A personal affiliate link and a discount code for each affiliate.
- Marketing materials. Marketing resources and promotional materials, plus promotions, incentives and contests for affiliates.
- Affiliate management team. Direct support from Iron Protocol’s affiliate management team.
Promotion rules
- Coupon websites. Purchases do not qualify when the affiliate has posted links or a coupon code on a “Coupon Website” or another prohibited distribution channel. The terms presume a site is a coupon website when more than 30% of its outbound links lead to merchant pages with discount codes or deals, or when its main navigation is built around discounts from multiple merchants.
- Reveal mechanisms. Affiliate discount codes may not be posted behind a “reveal the coupon code” mechanism, partial code masking or any similar click-to-reveal device, in any medium.
- Paid search. Pay-per-click advertising is prohibited, and purchases that come from a paid search placement bought by bidding on keywords do not qualify.
- Organic search. Purchases do not qualify when the customer arrived through a link shown in unpaid (organic) search-engine results.
- Incentives. Purchases do not qualify when the affiliate offered money, rebates, discounts, points, donations or other rewards for using the affiliate’s links.
- Personal orders. Orders placed through an affiliate’s own links for the affiliate, friends, relatives or associates do not qualify, nor do purchases for resale.
- Public statements. The terms bar press releases and other public communication about the agreement or the affiliate’s participation in the program (§10).
