AFA Biosciences: Not Listed

Prof. Peptide does not list AFA Biosciences (afabiosciences.com). Every certificate in its lot library was issued by the testing laboratory to another company, and AFA Biosciences says so on each lot. None of them names AFA Biosciences as the client.

What AFA Biosciences' certificate library shows

AFA Biosciences runs a public lot lookup on its own site (afabiosciences.com/certificates). On 2026-10-18 its library read “29 released lots · 14 awaiting”. Each released lot is labelled “Manufacturer’s certificate” and carries the same statement, with the laboratory and the company filled in: “This panel was run by [laboratory] and issued to [company], who released the batch this material came from — it is their testing, not ours”.

The library's own summary says the certificates are the manufacturers' release testing on material AFA Biosciences bought, “not testing we commissioned, and we do not present it as such”. The site header reads “Lot-specific COA · Third-party tested”.

Who each certificate was issued to

Prof. Peptide looked up the 26 lots that could be listed from the product pages and the library on 2026-10-17, after an invented lot number returned no certificate, and repeated the check on four of them on 2026-10-18. The laboratory and the client on each, as the lot pages show them:

Several of the lots date from September 2025 to March 2026. The library marks one lot “under review”.

Whose testing it is

A certificate records the batch of the client the laboratory issued it to. AFA Biosciences states openly that its certificates are its suppliers' testing, so the question is whose testing it is, not anything hidden: none of the 26 certificates is a record of a batch tested for AFA Biosciences.

Re-check

Prof. Peptide will look at AFA Biosciences again when it publishes certificates whose client field names AFA Biosciences and that match the laboratory's own records.

How Prof. Peptide assesses vendors and their certificates is on the methodology page. Every vendor kept off the directory on evidence like this is on the Vendors Not Listed page.
